Grand Canyon Baby!!!

2 weeks ago we took a trip out to Phoenix and decided to visit the Grand Canyon. Great idea at 1st but bad choice in making it a day trip. I say that because the Grand Canyon is over 80,000 feet above sea level, and if you're not accustom to breathing that cold thin air. 1 day up there will simply suck the life out of you. So anyways we set out on our mission to conquer the Grand Canyon on a cold sunny Sunday morning. It took us about 3 hours to drive there from Phoenix. It was pretty cool watching the temperature gage drop from a balmy 70 degrees to 40 in a matter of hours. The snow was beautiful, untouched and untainted by man or animal for that matter. So here is the entrance to the Grand Canyon right outside of Grand Canyon city. I should've taken a picture of the greeter because he was a blast right out of a hunting movie; the long beard and huge hat....it was hilarious!!
So we take the long winding road and finally reach the 1st point, can't recall the name of it but it's the basic starting point in "Grand Canyon Tourism".
So as you can imagine the view and points were breath taking; literally! We have never seen something so amazing in our lives. It's definitely a place to visit at least once in your lifetime. If we had any advice we would suggest to stay over night in Flagstaff or Grand Canyon City, then tackle the Grand Canyon the following day. That way you give your lungs time enough to adjust to the thin air and elevation. So enough words and time for more pictures!!

And you know we can't leave you without any funny pictures!!
